Turnchapel Furniture Case Study

Turnchapel Furniture is a family run business based in Suffolk specialising in bespoke furniture and custom made kitchens.

Turnchapel approached Bit2Flash as they felt their current website was not giving them a good enough return on their investment, the design was old fashioned and they realised the marketing for their business needed a makeover.
Issues with the current website:

• Size of the website on the screen is too small

• Old fashioned style

• Not enough information about past projects

• Photographs of the kitchens and furniture are too small

• Unnecessary use of scroll bars

• Not found on the search engines

• No leads generating from the website
The Solution

After a lengthy discussion about how Turnchapel Furniture wanted to be portrayed, a design style was formulated.

To compliment the furniture and kitchens made by Turnchapel the website has taken on a clean, classic and stylish theme, designed to a high-resolution screen.

The navigation is simple to use and the relevant information can be found quickly.

Several projects have been included on the new website and these will be added to over the years when more projects are completed, to showcase the work Turnchapel continue to produce.

High quality large images of the kitchens and furniture are used in the online showroom, allowing potential customers to get a close look at the excellent work Turnchapel can offer.

The whole website has been optimized for search engines, and in a short amount of time Turnchapel Furniture will be on the first page of Google, when relevant search terms are used.



Accompanying the Website

As well as having an online presence, Turnchapel Furniture display their kitchens in a local antiques showroom. They had postcards with contact details at the showroom, for people to take away, however these were not generating many leads.

After discussing a variety of solutions to promote the business at the showroom, we decided the best option would be to have a large poster on the wall as a permanent feature. Bit2Flash designed the poster to compliment the design on the website and the postcards were updated too.



Since Going Live

Since going live in September 2009, Turnchapel Furniture have received nothing but compliments about their new website, and secured three new contracts a month within the website going live.
