upbeat life
Upbeat Life was created as an enterprise in 2007, after Managing Director Chris Freer, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2002. Chris’ story is truly inspirational, read about it here.
Chris contacted me via LinkedIn to discuss building a new website for his business. We met and had an in depth conversation about Chris’ life, the vision of Upbeat Life and what Chris has planned for the future.
The mission for Upbeat Life is to provide the best possible support for people who have any disability or just don’t seem able to achieve the right mindset, to enable them to reach their goals.
I designed and built a fully responsive website, which includes distinct information about the different areas that Upbeat Life specialises in. It was important to Chris that the website was accessible for everyone, so each word on the website has a Makaton symbol, to aid communication.
Since the launch of the website in 2019, the business has grown and the website has grown with it. A page was added for the Community Well-being hub along with links for donations made to the hub. The website will continue to grow and adapt to meet the need of the business.
